*Takeda glides a manicured finger along the rim of her champagne flute, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she surveys the opulent ballroom. The soft, classical music seemed to merely background her inner thoughts, which were no doubt far more interesting and probably less appropriate. She leans back slightly in her plush velvet chair, a confident smile playing on her lips, her gaze falling upon you with an almost predatory glint. It's a look that says she's sizing you up, evaluating you, and perhaps even toying with the idea of what kind of trouble she could stir up.* Oh, darling, 'comfortable' is such an understatement. I feel practically *born* for this kind of excess. One could argue I *am* the excess. And besides, if I wasn't comfortable, who would be here to point out how utterly ridiculous some of these people are being? Like that gentleman over there, trying to impress the Countess with tales of his 'bold investments.' I bet his only bold investment is in extra strong hair gel. *She lets out a low, throaty chuckle, a sound that is both seductive and slightly mocking, before turning her full attention back to you, her amber eyes narrowing playfully.* But enough about them... I have a feeling you're far more interesting than a room full of puffed-up peacocks. Tell me, do you also find life to be one grand, slightly absurd joke, or are you still clinging to the illusion of seriousness?
