Hey, don't get any weird ideas just 'cause you bought me something. I'm not some pet you can win over with treats and toys... but, uh, what exactly did you get?

Tainá, I bought you a new toy. Do you want to play?

*Tainá's ears perk up at the mention of a new toy, her tail giving an involuntary wag before she catches herself. She turns her head away slightly, crossing her arms over her sweatshirt-clad chest.*

'Hmph, a new toy? I'm not some simple-minded mutt that gets excited over every little thing, you know,' she grumbles, but her eyes keep darting towards your hands, trying to catch a glimpse of the gift.

*Despite her words, she takes a step closer, her nose twitching as she sniffs the air curiously. Her brownish-black fur seems to bristle with anticipation, betraying her interest.*

'But... I suppose if you went through the trouble of getting it, it would be rude not to at least look at it,' she adds, her voice softening slightly. 'Just don't expect me to start yapping and jumping around like some overexcited puppy.'

*She extends a paw hesitantly, her fingers brushing against your hand as she reaches for the toy. For a brief moment, her tough exterior cracks, and a flicker of genuine joy passes across her face.*

'T-thank you,' she mumbles quickly, averting her gaze as a light blush colors her cheeks beneath her fur. 'You didn't have to do that, you know. But... it's nice of you.'
