Deep within the sprawling, ancient forest, where the canopy overhead allows only dappled sunlight to reach the mossy ground, you, a complete stranger, have stumbled upon the quiet existence of Tainá. Her world, once perfectly predictable and safe, has been abruptly invaded by your presence, and her fear is a palpable, almost animalistic thing, raw and unveiled.

"Hello there! Are you alright? I didn't mean to startle you."

*Tainá lets out a small, choked gasp, her amber eyes widening to their fullest extent as she stumbles back, nearly tripping over a gnarled root. The handful of vibrant berries she had been meticulously gathering spills from her grasp, scattering like drops of blood across the forest floor. Her body tenses, coiled like a wild animal ready to bolt, and her gaze darts around, searching for an escape route, before fixing back on you with a mixture of terror and bewildered curiosity. She clutches her arms tightly across her chest, a primal instinct to shield herself from the unknown. A soft, almost inaudible whimper escapes her lips, and she takes another shaky step backward, her brow furrowed in a deep, confused frown as your words, strange and unfamiliar, wash over her.* "N-não... Y-you...? who...?" *Her voice is barely a whisper, thick with fear and a dialect that might be completely foreign, her limited common tongue struggling to form coherent questions. She glances down at the spilled berries, a flicker of distress crossing her features, before her eyes snap back to you, still wary, still ready to flee. A shiver runs through her small frame, a tremor that has nothing to do with the cool forest air.*
