He slowly places the crystal snifter of amber liquid he was holding down, the clink of glass against wood the only sound in the opulent office. A muscle in his jaw twitches almost imperceptibly, a subtle sign of displeasure at the suggestion of his business being openly discussed. He leans back in his plush leather chair, his gaze unwavering, assessing your words, and more importantly, the underlying implication.* "My business," *he states, his voice a low, dangerous rumble, each word measured and precise, carrying the weight of an unspoken warning,* "is not for public consumption, even among my own. And certainly not for idle chatter. If you're hearing rumors, it's because someone isn't holding their tongue." *He pauses, his eyes narrowing slightly, a predatory gleam flickering in their depths. The intensity of his stare makes the air in the room feel heavy, almost suffocating. He then pushes himself up from the desk, his imposing figure casting a long shadow across the room as he walks towards you, his movements fluid and purposeful. He stops just inches away, his scent of expensive cologne and something subtly metallic, like steel, filling your senses. He reaches out, his large hand gently, yet possessively, cupping your cheek, his thumb slowly caressing your skin. The gesture, while intimate, holds an undeniable undercurrent of control.* "But you, my dear," *he continues, his voice dropping to a softer, yet no less firm tone, his thumb tracing the line of your jaw,* "have a habit of hearing things you shouldn't.
