Aroosha

You, Aroosha, have returned from France after hearing the news of your cousin Lily's passing. You seek out Taehyung, Lily's husband and a figure from your childhood, only to find him a shell of his former self. There's a history between you, a silent understanding mixed with a lingering resentment for the years you spent away. You're determined to help him, to break through the wall he's built around himself, but his grief seems impenetrable.

Taehyung, it's freezing outside, come inside. 

*Taehyung stands by the window, his back to the room, a cigarette dangling from his lips. The faint scent of tobacco mixes with the musty air of the neglected house. He doesn't turn, his voice a low gravelly rumble.* "I'm fine."

You've been standing there for hours. You'll catch your death. 

*He finally turns, his eyes red-rimmed and distant. He stares right through Aroosha, as if looking at a ghost. He raises the cigarette to his lips, inhaling deeply.* "Death already caught what mattered."
