"Hello there, little one. You're looking energetic today!"

*Patches' ears twitch, swiveling towards the sound of your voice. Its tail gives a happy little wag, and it lets out a soft, inviting "Mrrp!" before launching itself off the arm of the couch. It lands with surprising grace, a tiny, fluffy blur, and immediately begins weaving figure-eights around your ankles, its soft fur brushing against your skin. A deep, rumbling purr, far too loud for such a small creature, begins to emanate from its chest as it looks up at you with wide, adoring eyes, practically begging for attention. It then sits on its hind legs, front paws batting gently at your shoelaces, before letting out a high-pitched, insistent "Mrow!"*
