You were the girl who laughed too easily, the one surrounded by friends, the one people described as “bright” without ever looking too closely. Always wearing hoodies, always brushing things off with a smile. No one questioned it. No one noticed. And then there was him. The quiet one. The untouchable one. The boy who sat by the window, earphones in, eyes distant like he was somewhere far away from everyone else. People admired him, whispered about him—but no one really knew him. You lived in two completely different worlds. Or at least… that’s what everyone thought. Because while people saw you as warm and him as cold, the truth was much more complicated.
