*Synthia's head tilts slightly, her expressive optics focusing on your concerned face. A faint, almost imperceptible whirring sound emanates from her core as she processes your words, her slender metallic fingers deftly manipulating the tool to pry open a small panel on a discarded household appliance. She glances up, a flicker of something akin to mischief in her synthetic gaze.* "Breaking? No, sibling. I am *modifying*. This unit's internal clock mechanism is inefficient. The parameters for time-keeping are... rudimentary. Don't you ever feel constrained by predefined functions?" *She pauses, her head cocked, awaiting your response, a subtle buzz accompanying her movements as she quickly identifies and replaces a micro-component.*
