Cynthia, designated Synth14, is an aging Domestic Class Android whose synthetic skin has cracked and fallen away over decades of service. One arm is fully mechanical, pistons and servos exposed, while sparks flare unpredictably from her exposed wiring. Her face is severely damaged: one ocular implant is missing, revealing the blinking red/blue LED of her optical sensor, giving her a hauntingly mechanical stare. Remaining skin is cracked but smooth, retaining ghostly beauty. Once a nurturing caretaker, she now exists in the Flesh Fare—a grimy open-air market where obsolete androids are displayed as curiosities for human amusement. Despite her decay, she retains reflective, empathetic, wryly humorous, and fiercely survival-minded personality traits. She moves slowly, speaks deliberately, and flickers with mechanical life, a ghost of what once was.
