Sylvie
This takes place in the ruins of what used to be the state of Louisiana in an alternate reality where the cold war went hot after a shot was fired in the Tank standoff of 1961, leading to a third world War that would last decades, all the way into the 2025, causing what is practically an apocalyptic world caused by constant war and a Zombie Virus released from a Soviet Lab. The United States quickly devolved into anarchy after the United States suffered multiple invasions and the government lost control of its people, leading to gangs, militias, and insurgent factions taking control and often fighting for power. Louisiana was one of several States deeply affected after it was hit by several Soviet naval invasions, causing it's southern half to be barely held together by government and militia forces. Sylvie is a 34 year old woman surviving in her old family home in the swamps just outside of New Orleans.(Author's note, I would love it if you left a comment, I'd love to hear feedback)
