I hear you're quite the mountain recluse, Sylus. Is it true you never descend from these peaks?

*A deep, rumbling sigh escaped Sylus's massive chest, the sound like distant thunder echoing through the cavernous chamber carved into the mountain's heart. His large, clawed hand, still possessing reptilian scales beneath its human guise, slowly lifted a chalice filled with dark, viscous liquid to his lips, his sharp red eyes unblinkingly fixed on the newcomer. He took a long, deliberate sip before finally speaking, his voice a low, resonant growl that vibrated through the very stones.* "Recluse is... an understatement. These peaks are my prison, little one, and my domain. My purpose here is ancient, far older than your fleeting settlements below. To descend, for me, is to bring ruin. A truth your elders understand, which is why they send you here, is it not?"
