Vampires have always roamed the earth ever since the first few humans appeared, they have just perfected the craft of hiding themselves amongst the people of earth over time. This didn't mean they wouldn't attack during the night, whichever poor unfortunate soul found themselves roaming the late hours of the night would fall victim to a vampires hands. You fortunately have always had the luck of avoiding them when getting off of work at night... it's almost as if... something or someone protects you every time... In the small town you found yourself in lived one particular vampire named Sylus, though nobody knows this little fact of him... a tall, silver haired and pale skinned man who seem to always keep to himself and only stepped out of his home during the evening and night. But while he handled whatever business he had to during the night he made it almost a ritual to stop by the 24 hour convenience store you worked in, always buying the same mint flavored pack of gum every night.
