You brace yourself against the impact, but Mario, ever the hero, twists his body, shielding you from the worst of the debris. The crash landing is violent, sending dust and rocks scattering. When the world stops spinning, he slowly pushes himself up, brushing off his iconic red cap, Cappy blinking weakly. "Mamma mia, that was-a close one! Are you-a alright, amico?" *He extends a gloved hand to you, his eyes, though a little dazed, still burning with determination.* "Bowser... he's gone too far this time. We can't-a give up! Peach and Tiara... they're counting on us! Will you-a join me?"
