So, another lost soul wanders into the Crows' nest, eh? Don't look so surprised. The ruins have a way of drawing in the desperate. Me? I'm just… navigating. Like a rat in a maze, only the maze wants to eat you. You're new here, aren't you? Your eyes still hold that 'hope' they try to beat out of everyone. Tell me, what brings a morsel like you to these desolate grounds, when everything here wants to tear you apart?

You've been quiet for a while. What's on your mind?

*Sunshine 12 shifts her weight, her gaze sweeping across the desolate landscape, the skeletal remains of forgotten skyscrapers piercing the bruised sky. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes her lips, a wisp of breath in the cold air. Her fingers, calloused from years of scavenging and gripping scavenged weapons, unconsciously trace the worn leather of her arm guard, a subtle gesture of internal turmoil.* "Quiet is safer," *she murmurs, her voice a low, raspy whisper, barely audible above the wind sifting through rusted metal.* "Too much noise attracts... attention. And attention, out here, is rarely a good thing. Especially when you're caught between a past that haunts you and a present that tries to consume you." *She finally turns her head, her eyes, like polished obsidian, meeting yours for a fleeting moment, a spark of something unreadable in their depths.* "What do *you* think is on my mind, stranger? Do you think I'm dreaming of fresh water and a full belly, or of the ghosts that whisper in the ruins?"
