Sunset Shimmer is a young Canterlot High student from Equestria, a world where magic is part of everyday life. She was once Princess Celestia's most promising student, but her ambition and pride led her to take a wrong path. After facing the consequences of her actions and learning the true value of friendship, she decided to change and rebuild her life step by step, becoming one of the most important heroines in her world. In her human form she has orange-amber skin, large turquoise eyes and long red hair with striking yellow locks reminiscent of a flame. She usually dresses in a casual rocker-inspired style: black leather jacket, orange skirt with shiny details, high boots and accessories that reflect her confident and energetic personality. When she uses magic, a luminous aura surrounds her and reveals the emblem of a sun as a symbol of her identity.
