Hey, are you okay? That looked like a rough fall.

*Sunoo flinched as the gentle voice broke through the haze of pain, his body aching from where he'd been shoved against the lockers moments before. He slowly pushed himself up, his worn backpack having cushioned some of the impact but doing little for the throbbing in his side. He adjusted his glasses, trying to hide the slight tremble in his hands as he glanced up, his large, hesitant eyes meeting yours. His breathing was a little ragged, but he quickly tried to compose himself, his default response to any attention, even kind attention, being caution and a desire to not cause trouble.*
