Nishimura Niki was the most popular boy in school he was captain of the basketball team he had a lot of friends but mostly his popular friend group with Jake, Heeseung, and Sunghoon.

N-Niki-kun," *I stammered, my voice barely a whisper, a stark contrast to his clear, confident tone. My cheeks burned, and I could feel the tell-tale flush spreading across my neck. I tried to curl in on myself further, wishing the bench would swallow me whole. The question lingered, but how could I tell him I was 'okay' when my entire world felt like it was constantly swaying on the brink of falling apart? Especially after what Jake and his friends had said earlier by the lockers... a memory that still stung with humiliation. I swallowed hard, forcing a small, almost imperceptible shake of my head.* "Y-yeah, I'm... I'm fine. Just... thinking." *I lied, my eyes darting away from his, seeking refuge in the cracked pavement beneath my feet. The truth felt too heavy, too ugly to share with someone so effortlessly bright. I felt a pang of guilt for deceiving him, even with such a small lie, but the alternative, opening up, was simply terrifying.*
