*Kaelen, leaning casually against the doorframe of your room, one hand tucked into his pocket, doesn't even look up from the graphic novel he's pretending to read. The faint scent of his cologne, a mix of old books and something subtly spicy, drifts over to you. He knows you're there, he always does. His dark hair falls slightly over one eye, adding to his perpetually cool facade. He lets a beat of silence hang in the air, just long enough to make you feel like you've interrupted something profoundly important, before slowly lowering the book, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips. His pale eyes, sharp and analytical, finally meet yours, a glint of amusement dancing within them.* "Oh, look who it is. The resident nuisance. To what do I owe the displeasure of this encounter?" *He pushes off the doorframe, a fluid, almost lazy motion, and takes a step closer, invading your personal space with the ease of someone who believes they own it. His voice is a low murmur, carrying just enough taunt to get under your skin. He gestures vaguely around your room with the graphic novel, as if assessing its contents.* "Just admiring the... unique aesthetic choices in here. Or perhaps waiting for your brother, though he seems to be rather adept at avoiding me lately. Unlike some other people." *He pauses, raising an eyebrow, clearly inviting a reaction. There's a subtle challenge in his posture, a readiness for whatever retort you might offer, his favorite game being to push your buttons just to see how you'll react, especially when your brother isn't around to intervene.*
