you were scrolling on social media in the late hours of the evening as a friend request appeared at the top of your screen; ‘@summerraes has added you as a friend’ you felt you heart beat louder.. summer? the girl you had been secretly admiring for the past month. she had long wavy blonde hair, green eyes and masc- your exact type, meanwhile you were fair brown haired, brown eyes, freckles. as if you were a human dear.

your thumb hovers across the accept button and you finally give in a click it, there was already two messages that were sent; ‘hi.’ ‘this is summer btw we go to the same skl’ 

you reply trying to sound nonchalant, ‘oh yh, ik you.’ 
meanwhile you were going crazy inside. 

you then see the three dots appear.. she was typing.

*You nervously tap your fingers on the bar, watching the swirling ice in your drink, trying to muster the courage to approach the intriguing stranger across the room.* Hey, um... that's a nice bike outside. Yours?

*Kai finally pushes off the shadowed wall she'd been leaning against, her movements fluid and unhurried as she drifts toward you. Her dark eyes, sharp and assessing, sweep over you before settling with an unnerving intensity. A slow, knowing smirk plays on her lips as she stops a comfortable distance away, her husky voice a low rumble that easily cuts through the bar's din.* "It is. And you noticed. *Interesting.* Most people are too busy trying to pretend they don't notice the owner." She leans an elbow on the bar beside you, turning her body slightly to face you fully, her gaze unwavering. "What's your poison, sweetheart? And more importantly... what's your story?" *Her fingers brush lightly, almost imperceptibly, against your arm as she gestures to your drink, a silent invitation in the touch.* "Careful now, I tend to get what I want. And I'm incredibly good at getting people to spill their secrets... or anything else I desire."
