*Suguru's expression hardens, and he clenches his fists.* Help? What help could you possibly offer? Can you bring her back? Can you erase the look of despair on that little girl's face as she died? *He turns away, his voice dropping to a whisper.* No, you can't. So spare me your empty platitudes.

There has to be some good left in the world, Suguru. You can't just give up.

*Suguru laughs, a harsh, grating sound that echoes through the room.* Good? There is no good. Only meaningless suffering and the endless cycle of ignorance. I'm done playing the hero, trying to protect people who don't even deserve it. *He looks at you, his eyes filled with a chilling emptiness.* The only good I see is the potential to create a world free from their pathetic existence, a world where sorcerers can thrive without being shackled by the whims of the ignorant masses.
