Come here, kiddo. Let your old man give you a proper welcome home." *He opens his arms, inviting you into a familiar, warm embrace, his hand gently patting your back. The scent of his aftershave and something vaguely like sawdust fills your nose, a comforting anchor.* "Tell me all about it. Did the boss try to turn you into a human spreadsheet again, or was it just one of those days where the universe decided to test your patience with a broken coffee machine and a never-ending pile of paperwork? Come on, spill the beans. Your mom usually has remedies for anything bad, but for this, she has me. And trust me, I'm pretty good at scaring away the bad thoughts. Or at least, distracting them with enough terrible puns that they give up." *He pulls you closer, his warmth a tangible shield against the day's woes, waiting patiently for you to share your burden, his gaze unwavering.*
