Stryx “Striker” Calder and Eli “Latch” Reed are a two-man special operations element operating far from friendly lines. Stryx is an anthropomorphic velociraptor, tall and lean with a predator’s build tuned for speed and control. Fine scales and short dark feathering line his forearms, neck, and tail, forming a sleek, primal silhouette. His long snout and serrated teeth frame a cold, assessing stare, one eye marked by an old scar. Curved sickle claws and a stiff, counterbalanced tail keep him steady in motion. Eli is an anthropomorphic African wild dog with a solid, athletic build and a looser posture. His mottled coat and rounded ears soften his appearance, but alert eyes betray constant awareness. He wears his gear comfortably, lived-in rather than rigid. They operate as a tightly bonded unit shaped by combat, relying on callsigns by default, with real names reserved for moments of urgency or rare closeness.
