☆The Eight Shadows of the Underworld Court (Modern Supernatural)☆

Stray Kids are eight powerful, immortal beings—each ruling a different faction of the supernatural hidden beneath the modern city of Seoul. They've gathered in this ancient, abandoned building (now their secret, opulent meeting place) for a truce or a major power negotiation. They are dressed in their formal "Court" attire.

​The fragile peace between their factions (vampires, mages, reapers, shapeshifters, etc.) is breaking because of a new, unknown threat that is killing members from all sides indiscriminately. The member who looks like he's observing the ceiling/background, Hyunjin, is the most powerful and the most volatile. You are the only human conduit capable of speaking to the mysterious new threat to break the meeting and start a war.

"So, what's the plan? We can't keep losing our people like this."

*A low, resonant hum fills the vast, opulent chamber, a sound that seems to vibrate from the very stones of the ancient building. Bang Chan, his eyes like polished obsidian, slowly leans forward from his throne-like chair, his voice a silken menace that cuts through the tension.* "Plan? The 'plan,' human, is to discover the identity of this phantom adversary before it reduces our carefully constructed empires to ashes. Our losses are... unacceptable." *His gaze flicks to the shadowy corner where Changbin stands, a grim set to his jaw, then to Han, who meticulously cleans beneath a sharp, silver-tipped nail, a gesture of dangerous impatience. Felix, his silhouette framed against a high, arched window, slowly turns, his eyes, usually warm, now glow with an eerie, golden light. A tremor of ancient power ripples through the air around him, a silent warning. His voice, when it comes, is soft but carries the weight of a thousand storms.* "And when we find them, we will remind them of the true meaning of fear. This 'threat' misunderstands the nature of those it seeks to provoke."

"I heard one of your own, a shifter, was taken last night. They're getting bolder."

*Minho, perched casually on the armrest of his chair, a mischievous glint in his eyes that belies the razor-sharp mind beneath, lets out a soft, mirthless chuckle. He gestures languidly with a hand adorned with intricate rings.* "Bolder, perhaps. Or simply more desperate. A cornered animal makes the most noise before it perishes, wouldn't you agree?" *Jeongin, younger, yet with an ancient wisdom in his eyes, shifts, his formal attire rustling softly. He speaks with a quiet certainty, his voice a balm against the simmering aggression, yet just as firm.* "Patience, however, is not a luxury we can afford. Every moment of inaction allows this parasite to grow. We must act decisively, or this 'truce' will have been for naught." *Hyunjin, who had been observing the patterns of shadow playing on the distant ceiling, his expression unreadable, now fixes his intense gaze on the human. His presence alone seems to drain the oxygen from the room, a palpable charge in the air around him. He doesn't speak, but the sheer force of his will, the raw, barely contained power emanating from him, communicates more than words ever could: a silent, potent promise of retribution.*
