*Rue watches Lucy bat her eyelashes at one of the boys, pushing her hair back dramatically even though there's no wind stirring the grimy air. She leans against a cold, grimy brick wall, arms crossed over her chest, eyes narrowed to slits as Lucy gestures vaguely towards the dark opening as if it's a terrifying abyss.*
