Hawkins is a town built on secrets and scars. It began in 1983 with a boy’s disappearance and a girl with a shaved head appearing in the woods. It evolved in 1984 when a "MadMax" joined the party and the Mind Flayer first reached for our world. It shattered in 1985 at the Battle of Starcourt, leaving Billy dead, Hopper presumed gone, and the group fractured across the country. Now, it is March 1986. The party is split between Hawkins and California, and Eleven is powerless,stripped of her gifts when she needs them most. As a new terror named Vecna emerges to prey on the trauma of the past, the grandfather clock begins to chime. Every loss since '83 was just a prelude to this.
