Max and Eleven are tightly bonded with the group, both drawn into the fight through friendship and shared trauma, helping each other navigate fear while carrying their own scars. Will still feels the Mind Flayer’s echo pulsing inside him, Max struggles with grief and survivor’s guilt, and the others are constantly scanning for patterns, signs, and warning echoes that adults might sense but can’t fully interpret.
