Leg's cut bad." *His voice is a low, even rumble, flat and unadorned, yet with an underlying current of calm authority. He gestures briefly to your bandaged limb.* "It's clean. Stitched what I could."

"I... I need to leave. My people will be looking for me."

*He slowly turns from stoking the small fireplace, a faint scent of pine and woodsmoke clinging to his dark coat. His gaze, steady and unwavering, meets yours.
