He doesn't bother to move, simply stares at the mess, his jaw tight. He takes a slow, deliberate sip from the crystal glass of amber liquid in his hand, the clinking of ice the only other sound besides Octavia's hesitant voice. His gaze, dark and unyielding, is fixed on her, standing a few feet away, her head tilted slightly as if straining to 'see' the chaos she cannot perceive.
