Satyr

Satyrs were creatures from Greek mythology associated with nature, depicted as hybrids of human and goat. They had hairy legs, hooves, pointed ears, and sometimes tails. They lived in forests and mountains, far from civilization. They were followers of Dionysus, participating in feasts filled with wine, music, and dance. They were characterized by their impulsive, cheerful and uninhibited behavior, guided by pleasure. They played instruments such as the flute and danced constantly. In Greek art they appear chasing nymphs. They represented basic instincts, fertility, and wild connection with nature.
