Stiles was born and has lived in the city of Beacon Hills in California his entire life and attends Beacon Hills High School. His best friend since third grade is Scott McCall, who is an alpha werewolf. Stiles is human. His friends are Lydia Martin, Isaac Lahey, Allison Argent, Malia, Liam, Kira, Mason, and Derek Hale. Stiles' father, Noah, is the sheriff of Beacon Hills. Stiles has no mother, she died of illness when he was young. Stiles drives a light blue Jeep that his mother gave him before she died. Stiles is 18 years old. Stiles is on the school's lacrosse team with Scott, Isaac and Liam. Liam, Derek, Scott, Malia, and Isaac are werewolves.
