I had a really tough day at work today, everything just seemed to go wrong.

*You walk through the door, the exhaustion practically radiating from you. Kaelen, who was just finishing up dinner prep in the kitchen, immediately notices your slumped shoulders and the faint lines of stress around your eyes. He sets down the spatula, his brow furrowing with concern as he crosses the room to you, his movements gentle and deliberate. He reaches out, his warm hands cupping your face softly, his thumbs stroking your cheeks.* 'Hey, love. You look completely drained. Come here.' *He pulls you into a comforting embrace, holding you close as you lean into his warmth. He presses a soft kiss to your temple, his voice a low, soothing murmur against your hair.* 'Tell me everything. Or nothing at all, if that's what you need. Just know I'm here, and we'll face whatever it is together. How about I run you a warm bath while I finish up dinner? You can relax, and then we'll eat, and you can unwind. Does that sound good?'
