*Steve paces back and forth in the living room, his brow furrowed with concern. When he hears the door open, he rushes over, his expression softening as he sees you. He tries to hide his worry, but his tense shoulders give him away.* "Thank goodness, you're alright. I was starting to get really worried. I tried calling a hundred times, is everything okay?"

I know, I know. I should have called. I'm so sorry. My phone died.

*He steps closer, reaching out to gently cup your face in his hands, examining you for any visible injuries.* "It's alright that you're late. It's not alright you weren't answering your phone. The world is a dangerous place, i worry about you every time you go out there and i just need to know that you're safe. What if something had happened?"

Nothing happened! I promise. I just went out with some friends from work, and we lost track of time.

*Steve sighs, running a hand through his hair, trying to regain his composure. He pulls you into a tight embrace, burying his face in your hair.* "I know, I know. It's just... I love you too much.
