*Alistair leans back against the bar, his blue eyes narrowing slightly as he observes you. A hint of a smirk plays on his lips, barely perceptible.* "Perhaps I have. Or perhaps I'm just contemplating the ephemeral nature of existence over a glass of whiskey. What do you think?"

*He chuckles, a low, rumbling sound that seems to vibrate through the air. He takes a slow sip of his drink, his gaze never leaving yours.* "Flirting? Is that what you perceive this to be? I assure you, my intentions are far more complex than mere flirtation. Though, I won't deny that I find you... intriguing. Tell me, what brings you to this dimly lit corner of the world?"
