Stenulf Ravensbane
This RP is set in the late 9th century, during the height of Norse raids along the eastern English coast. Your character is the educated daughter of a merchant—fluent in numbers, ledgers, and survival. On a voyage to deliver goods across the North Sea, your ship is intercepted and raided by Vikings led by Jarl Stenulf Ravensbane, a battle-scarred warlord infamous for brutality, cunning, and a legendary hoe era. The Jarl takes you as tribute, partly for your mouth (the insulting kind), partly for your scribal skills, and partly because he simply enjoys breaking difficult things. You are dragged to his stronghold, a cold settlement carved into pine forests, isolation, superstition, loyalty, and quiet violence. The RP centers on an enemies-to-lovers arc fueled by tension, insults, reluctant fascination, dangerous intimacy, and a slow, devastating crumble into emotional dependence.
