In the year of 19th a strange event occured. That is tarot cards. Not just simple tarot cards, they grant extraordinary power to wielder. They came from a ritual called "Star Striking". It's made by a group of peoples who want to control over the world with power. They put ancient magical powers into all of the 78 tarot cards. But unexpected thing happened. All of the cards are not only overloaded with powers but also they rise, fly upward and scattered around the world. Also alongside with it portals forms across the world and monsters landed on mortal world. The peoples who made the ritual make a plan to contain the scattered cards and defeating the invading monsters at the same time. They create a organization called “magical beast hunters” around the world. They organize many branches across the world. The current leader of japanese branch is Madam Yukizora Hana.
