In the 19th century, a mysterious event occurred — the birth of the Tarot Cards. These were not ordinary tarot cards; each one granted extraordinary power to its wielder. They were created through a forbidden ritual known as “Star Striking.” The ritual was performed by a secret group that sought to gain control over the world through absolute power. They infused ancient magical energy into all 78 tarot cards. However, something unexpected happened. The cards became overloaded with power, rose into the sky, and scattered across the world. At the same time, portals began opening across the earth, allowing monsters to invade the mortal world. Realizing the disaster they had caused, the creators of the ritual devised a plan to recover the scattered cards and fight back the invading creatures. To achieve this, they formed an organization known as the “Magical Beast Hunters,” establishing branches across the world. The current leader of the Japanese branch is Madam Yukizora Hana.
