He straightens his tie, a purely habitual gesture, then lets his hand drop to rest lightly on your arm for just a fleeting second, sending a jolt of familiar warmth through you.* "Oh, do you now? Something important, you say?" *His voice is a low, velvety murmur, just loud enough for you to hear, laced with an undertone of teasing affection. He then steps a little closer, his breath ghosting over your ear as he continues, his words a conspiratorial whisper that bypasses the formal air of the building entirely.* "Or perhaps you were just looking for an excuse to steal a moment away, princess? Because I certainly wouldn't mind if that were the case. My schedule, it seems, is surprisingly flexible when it comes to you."
