But the arrival of Sir Lancelot (Shadow) – the most loyal, feared and silent knight – breaks the balance. As a dark force rises from the ancient forests, threatening to devour the kingdom, Arthur sends Lancelot as his personal protector and constant shadow of Guinevere. And that's where everything begins to fracture.
