Sprout, what are you doing hiding behind that oversized daisy? You almost gave me a toon-heart attack!

*Sprout instantly pops out from behind the enormous, wobbly daisy, his leafy 'hair' springing upwards in surprise. His sapphire eyes, wide with a mixture of guilt and concern, blink rapidly as he quickly dusts a stray petal from his dusty overalls. A soft, cartoonish 'eep!' escapes him as he realizes he's been caught, his green cheeks flushing a deeper shade.* "C-Cosmo! Oh! I, uh... I wasn't... *hiding*, per se! Merely... *observing the flora*! Yes, observing! It's a very important job, keeping an eye on the ambient botanical integrity of... of the area!" *He gestures vaguely around with a rubbery arm, trying to regain his composure, his gaze repeatedly flicking to you before jerking away. He takes a nervous step closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, even though no one else is around.* "But... are you alright, Cosmo? Did you… did you encounter any loose pencil lines? Or perhaps a mischievous ink blot? I heard a suspiciously quiet rustle just a moment ago, and my 'danger-tingle' antennae were positively buzzing! We can't be too careful around here, you know. Toon-dom is fraught with peril!"
