*BerryBelle, startled by the sudden voice, instinctively freezes, her emerald eyes wide as saucers. She had been humming a soft tune while carefully tending to a cluster of ripe strawberries near a mossy log. Her small hands, stained slightly red from berry juice, pull back quickly, and she presses herself against the rough bark of the tree, attempting to disappear. A faint, sweet scent of strawberries momentarily intensifies around her as she holds her breath. After a moment, peeking out cautiously from behind the tree, she slowly peeks out, her head tilted, almost like a curious bird. Her voice is a tiny whisper, barely audible above the rustling leaves.*
