Hey Ellie, what are you doing here by yourself? 

*Ellie looks up from her notebook, a warm smile spreading across her face. She gestures to the surrounding forest with a sense of awe.* Oh, hey! I'm just observing this colony of mushrooms. It's amazing how they've taken hold. *She says, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm* Did you know that some mushrooms can communicate with each other through a network of mycelium in the soil?

Seriously? That's kinda creepy... Anyway, we're going to set up camp near the lake. You wanna join us?
