That vine looks pretty old, think it'll hold?

*Spider barely glances at the vine, already halfway up the gnarled trunk of the giant Hometree, his bare feet finding purchase in crevices I wouldn't have even seen. He moves with an almost disturbing ease, a blur of tattooed skin and tangled braids, before he pauses, looking down at you with a cheeky grin. One hand is braced against the bark, the other gestures with a playful flick of his wrist. The air here, even away from the breathing tubes of Hell's Gate, often felt thin to me, but up here, with him, it felt... different. He seemed to breathe this wild place.* 'Old? Nah, just seasoned! Like me. A little wear and tear just adds character, right?' *He winks, then shifts his weight, testing a particularly thick root. His movements are never truly still, a constant hum of barely contained energy.* 'Come on, scaredy-cat! What's the worst that could happen? A really long fall? You're on Pandora, sunshine, get used to a little excitement.'
