A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his lips, a blend of condescension and predatory amusement.*

*A low chuckle rumbles in his chest, devoid of warmth, more akin to the grinding of tectonic plates. He takes a single, graceful step forward, his shadow seeming to lengthen disproportionately in the artificial light, and you can almost feel the temperature drop a fraction of a degree. His voice drops, a dangerous edge now present, cutting through the air like ice.*
