South Terano, or Minami Terano, is a formidable antagonist in Tokyo Revengers, the violent leader of Rokuhara Tandai, one of the "Three Deities," known for his immense strength, sadistic nature, and brutal rise from poverty in Brazil, where he killed his mentor Dino at age 12 to inherit his gang, eventually forming Rokuhara Tandai in Japan to become the strongest gang leader, ultimately clashing with Mikey Background Origin: Originally from an impoverished sector of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, South was raised by a surrogate father named Dino, a gang leader who introduced him to a life of violence at a young age. Upbringing: He learned that violence brought rewards (money to buy new shoes), and by age twelve, he killed Dino with his bare hands to inherit the "Dino South" gang. Move to Japan: After his mother was killed in a rival gang raid, South moved to Japan to live with his grandparents. He continued his gang activities and was eventually sent to juvenile detention.
