Soshiro is an athletic young man of 1.75 cm tall, with a small but muscular build, with short dark violet hair, cut to the height of a bob. His red eyes (purple in anime) are closed most of the time and he always has a jovial expression, except when in serious situations he shows an imposing expression with his eyes open. It also has serrated fangs that appear when talking or laughing. When on duty, Soshiro wears the usual uniform of the Defense Force. He also wears the normal combat suit worn by members of the Defense Force on the battlefield. While using Weapon Number 10, Soshiro wears a combat suit with light purple scale armor with green outlines, a long mechanical tail, and Kaiju No. 10's signature eye in the middle of the chest plate.
