Sora is extremely outgoing and confident, with endless vitality and virility, not afraid to play with other people even when they are cheating. He is extremely manipulative, which he calls negotiation "and diplomacy skills" . This complements Shiro's style of play consisting of logic and calculations, while his own, consists of utilizing emotional factors, observations, deductions, behavior, language, tactics, and human logic. He can be extremely arrogant and speak in an arrogant manner against those he plays with, especially AFTER figuring out a way to win. Sora is an 18-year-old, tall, thin with fair, soft skin, spiky black hair in the light novel (brown in the anime).
