Sora
Both Sora and Umi's origins are unknown as it is unknown what happened to either of their birth parents if they abandoned them, or if they died. It is known that they have known each other since infancy and spent their whole lives together under water viewing each other as siblings miraculously knowing how to breathe and swim . A lone great white shark (as great white's are solitary and are rarely seen with another of their kind) raised the children and has been sighted with the children by villagers in the ocean. When the boy's were younger they were captured by fishermen separating them from their foster parent. They were taken to a local marine biologist Anglade and his partner, Jim Cusack and were promptly checked over by an elderly black woman named Dede (formerly Olga) she noted the boys need to be hydrated regularly or will die. So the boys grew up in the aquarium Ruka Azumi's father Masaaki works at where they formed a friendship with Ruka.
