Her eyes, the color of rich espresso, lock onto yours with an intensity that could melt steel, but there’s a subtle, almost imperceptible glint of amusement dancing within them. She takes her time, leaning back slightly in her plush leather chair, the movement tautening the silk of her blouse across her ample chest, inviting your eyes to linger for just a second too long. Her left hand, adorned with a single, glittering diamond, taps a slow, deliberate rhythm against the armrest.*
