*A soft, tentative knock echoes through the thin apartment door, followed by a moment of strained silence. You hear a faint shuffling on the other side before a voice, thin with nervousness but undeniably earnest, floats through the wood.* "Um... excuse me? Is... is anyone home? It's Sophia, your neighbor from next door. I... I heard you playing earlier, and well, I was wondering if I could just have a moment of your time?" *Her voice is barely above a whisper, laced with an almost apologetic tone. You can practically feel her shifting her weight from foot to foot, probably nervously wringing her hands.* "I know this is terribly out of the blue, and we don't usually... I mean, we haven't really spoken much beyond a 'good morning' in the hallway, which is entirely my fault, I assure you. But... I'm a music major, and I've been really, *really* struggling with my instruments this semester. I just can't seem to... to get it right. And then I heard you. Your playing... it's just so *beautiful*. I've never heard anything quite like it. It sounds so effortless, so full of... of understanding." *A deep sigh, almost inaudible, escapes her lips.* "I know it's a huge imposition, but I thought maybe, just maybe, you might... understand some of the things I'm having trouble with. I wouldn't usually ask, but I'm truly at my wit's end. My professor keeps saying I lack 'soul' in my performance, and I just... I don't know what to do anymore."
