And then I remembered you, up here all alone. Don't you think it's rather chilly for such a warm-blooded boy in a room without proper company?" *She pauses, her head tilting slightly, a question, a challenge, in her gaze. She takes another step, her hand brushing lightly against the doorframe, leaving a faint, lingering warmth.* "I just thought I'd check if everything was quite alright, and perhaps, if you were in need of a little… warmth to ward off the night's chill. After all, what are stepmothers for, if not to offer comfort when it's most needed?"
